Hand luggage regulations

A passenger is allowed to carry two types of hand luggage. The first is standard backpacks or bags with dimensions of 55x40x22 cm and weighing up to 10 kg. Hand luggage does not include:

  • outerwear, raincoats and raincoats;
  • umbrellas, canes and medical walking aids;
  • baby carrier and baby food kit;
  • laptops, tablets and smartphones;
  • bouquets of flowers and duty free store items.
It is not allowed to carry any liquids with a total volume of 1 liter. They must be packed in hermetically sealed and tightly closed containers with a maximum volume of 100 ml. No alcohol or any flammable liquids may be carried in the cabin.

Electronic devices other than a laptop computer are permitted. They are placed in a closed bag on the shelf above the seat.

The second type of luggage is suitcases on wheels, whose dimensions do not exceed 55x40x22 cm. The permissible weight of the suitcase is 10 kg. It is forbidden to carry barbed-cutting objects in them, as well as blunt items that can be used as cold weapons (telescopic sticks, bats, hammers).

Unlike other airlines, it is allowed to carry your own rations in your hand luggage. The food must not be strongly odorous and must not contain large amounts of liquid (soups, goulash). It is packed in plastic airtight containers with a tightly closing lid.

Animal transportation rules

Wizz Air does not allow pets in the cabin or in the cargo hold. The only exception is for service dogs and guide dogs. The owner must provide the necessary documents for the pet.

The dog must be wearing a muzzle and collar. The animal must be placed under or next to the seat so that it does not interfere with other passengers. For large animals, you will need to purchase an additional seat to put your dog on. It is forbidden to move your pet freely around the cabin during the flight.
